How this works
Every city is shown for the same moment: your device’s clock, read once a second. Each city’s time comes from its time zone rules in your browser, and the difference from the reference city is the gap between the two zones’ UTC offsets at that moment, so it changes correctly when only one place has moved its clocks.
A city listed here stands in for its country or for part of it: it is a representative location for a time zone, nothing more. Daylight saving is shown only where the pattern for the year is clear; otherwise no note is shown, because Numerila would rather leave it out than guess.
Time zone rules come from your browser and device, and they can lag behind a recent change of law. This page is a convenient guide, not an official time standard, and no time is fetched from the internet.
