Random List Picker
Pick one or more random items from a list you enter, without repeating a pick.
How this was picked
Every line that is not blank is one item, and each item is kept exactly as you typed it. Empty lines, and lines with only spaces, are ignored. Repeated lines count as separate entries, so entering "Apple" twice means it can be picked twice. Picking is done without replacement, using the browser's Web Crypto random generator, so within one draw the same line is never picked more than once, and every item has an equal chance of being chosen. Picking every item is the same as a random shuffle of the whole list.
What this result means
The result is the item, or items, picked at random from your list, without replacement.
Assumptions and limitations
- There is no "with replacement" option and no separate shuffle mode. Picking every item is the same as a shuffle.
- Duplicate entries are not removed. An item entered twice is two separate entries, so it can appear twice in the result.
