How it works

Numerila makes the QR code entirely in your browser from the text you enter. Nothing is uploaded to an outside QR service, and no web address you enter is opened or checked for safety. The code simply holds your text, so making one is not a guarantee that a link is trustworthy.

The code uses a medium error correction level, so it can still be read if part of it is damaged. It holds up to 2,331 bytes of text. Plain English letters take one byte each, accented letters take two and emoji take four, so text in other scripts fits fewer characters. If your text is too long you will see a clear message instead of a broken or shortened code.

This tool does not add a logo or colours, does not track scans, and does not make "dynamic" codes that can be changed after they are made.
