Password Generator

How this works

Passwords are generated locally, using the browser's Web Crypto random generator. Nothing is sent anywhere, saved or logged. The generator guarantees at least one character from every character type you select. It draws one from each type first, adds the rest from all the selected types together, and then shuffles the result so the guaranteed characters are not always at the start.

This tool does not estimate how long a password would take to crack, and no password is unbreakable. Websites and services also set their own password rules, which this tool cannot know in advance, so check that a generated password is accepted where you want to use it.

Security also depends on using a different password for each account and keeping it somewhere safe.
